@ Lasell College
Tell us about yourself!
Steven runs cross-country at Lasell, and has played most sports while growing
up. He is an devoted member of the Red Sox Nation, and is beyond thrilled
about the World Series. He still takes time to be a big Pats fan, as well.
He is an RA (Resident Advisor) at Woodland Hall at Lasell College, where he
is a sophomore studying sports management. He wants to become a sports
agent, dealing with the NFL and MLB, and his phone message is "Show me the
message!".
He is from New Hampshire, where he has a great family, including a twin
brother (fraternal) Chris. His favorite food is Baby Back Ribs!

How often do you have to go to the hospital?
Every 4-5 months, for 2-3 weeks.
What kind of treatment do you get at Children's Hospital?
Physical therapy, intravenous antibiotics, and occasional surgery. This
is in addition to the usual medicines, especially the special enzymes taken to
correct digestion to slow the course of Cystic Fibrosis.
What do you do in the hospital to pass the time?
He has arranged for internet access with the IT group at Children's. He
does what school work that he can, and plays Xbox a lot. Boredom comes
with being isolated for weeks.
How do you keep up with your schoolwork while at Children's?
It's very difficult. Some emailed assignments, plus independent study,
and a lot of catch-up later.
What is the most difficult restriction that you face?
A toss-up between the negative impact on his studies and the social isolation.
