Other Avatars (Telepresence) bots on the Web

Avatar - defined as an embodiment or concrete manifestation, from Hindu description of the earthly incarnation of a god.

Avatar, or telepresence robots allow for remote control and bidirectional communications between the robot and the controller.  The robot stands in for the person at a remote location. Some Avatar robot projects that we have found on the Web :
